Iranian forces say they have struck a American military facility in Bahrain, as Iran launched operations across the region in response for a large-scale and ongoing offensive targeting the nation by the United States and Israeli forces.

It said missile fragments fell on a residential area in Abu Dhabi, resulting in some property damage and killing a civilian.

The US Air Force operates from the Al Dhafra base, south of the Emirati capital, along with the UAE Air Force.
