Liverpool's Star Extends Regret to Liverpool Dressing Room, Discloses Curtis Jones

Curtis Jones has disclosed that Salah expressed regret to the entire Liverpool squad following the uproar from his recent interview.

The Incident

Salah was left out from a key Champions League match after making accusations and claiming his rapport with Arne Slot had soured.

“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, I apologise.’”

Arne Slot has previously declined to disclose on whether he received a personal apology from the player.

Team Unity

He emphasized that the team's response remained positive. “He was his usual self, he had a big smile on his face and it was business as usual,” the midfielder explained.

The midfielder also suggested that a player's desire to start is a positive trait. “I understand there are certain ways you can express yourself,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just be on the bench, then I think that’s concerning.”

Team Form

Liverpool's form have stayed unbeaten in the games following the interview fallout. He feels the outburst were not intended to harm the team.

“In moments of frustration, it has consistently come from a good place,” Jones concluded. “That chapter is closed and we’re gelling well as a team, performing and securing victories.”
